Cheapflights promotes the World Emoji Day

Cheapflights celebrated the World Emoji Day on 17th July by releasing a new search functionality whereby people can use emojis to search for flights.

As part of the Creative Solutions team at Cheapflights, I worked on the landing page and online promotion on social media.

The campaign proofed to be very successful:

  • In 7 days we had 126,881 visits to the site
  • Over 7,500 users used the emoji search functionality
  • We had over 31,700 competition entries
  • The site was shared about 7,500 times
  • Over 18,000 users signed up for our newsletter
